I used Windows for 30 days, and now it's asking me for a product key. I used a product key from a computer upstairs, but apparently, you can only use a key once.
So I either have to buy another copy of Windows, or illegally download a product key. And we don't want the latter, do we?

Discuss/suggestions.

I have Vista at my mom's house :/
So, any suggestions? Any places I can buy a key or something? Cause I don't need the disc...

Office Depot sells XP

No, you can't just buy the key. When you buy an OS, you're basically only paying for the key. The disc is just a free thing to install the operating system. If you call microsoft and ask them for a replacement disc for one of their supported operating systems, they'll mail you one without asking if you have a key.
