My foot is usually on the product key.
Lolwut
This.
Too expensive. Also, I already downloaded Steam and a bunch of games, and don't want to again.

When you install windows 7, you can choose to move your old files into a windows.old folder, you are still able to run steam games from there, just add a  new shortcut to your program files or desktop.

As for the price, if you're a college student I think you can get windows 7 for $30, otherwise I still don't recommend XP.

1. I have to DELETE XP.
2. I'm in middle school. Good suggestion though.

XP is partitioned on my hard drive, so I have to remove it before installing 7. ALSO, it's waaay too expensive.

You can install 7 in the same partition as XP, it just moves the important files to Windows.Old, that's what I did.

Go buy XP

Oh wait...

Get windows Vista/7

So I can tell you to get XP
you still have to register a product key for vista lol

Ahh, good old Windows. Stealing money from you since your first prom date.

Just like you steal money from little kids, internet tough guy.

Oh my, 15 minutes later, that joke still sucks.

I used Windows for 30 days, and now it's asking me for a product key. I used a product key from a computer upstairs, but apparently, you can only use a key once.
So I either have to buy another copy of Windows, or illegally download a product key. And we don't want the latter, do we?

Discuss/suggestions.
Well, if you can;t use your key and you don't want to do the second option, what is left to discuss?

I thought this topic was a Windows ME rant.

Go get Windows 7...?

If you're really still using XP you are going to be outdated for sure by the next Windows.

I know, guilty, but I have no choice of Operating System when it comes to my laptop (which probably can't even handle Windows 7 :|)
