Author Topic: Selling My Computer  (Read 3325 times)

I saved $600 dollars...i might buy it.
Like I said before, I would be willing to sell it for about half that, (300$) and since you play Blockland, it would come with a 20$ bill taped to the side.

Current bid on eBay is 275$http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320473006173&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_500wt_1182

IF you're gonna make the BL promo, take off the shipping price and pay it for us.

That's precisely what I'm doing. I can't take off the shipping price of my listed item, and if someone on eBay buys it (as in a non-BL person) then they will pay shipping. If someone from BL buys it and PM's me, they get the 20$ taped to it as a "cash-back" sorda thing.

I demand sound card specifications :U

Also, not saying I'm going to buy it for sure but it's very tempting.

Lol, for sure. Also, considering making it a 30$ rebate instead of a 20$ one, because I wanna buy my new laptop today! xD

The specifics.. I am unsure of, but:

Realtek High Definition Audio. Sound is nice, and it has microphone/speaker ports in the front and back. Along with some others that puzzle me.

Yeah Rex is right.  You will be cheating the poor 12 year old who wants to run TF2.
You and Rex need to stop stuffting in this thread, My alt desktop has an ATI Radeon Saphire x1550 and it runs Gmod perfectly fine, and that card is about the same to tokers card. Tokerovin's system will be able to run TF2 alright, in fact I don't think any 12 year old will be crying at the amazing deal they got on ebay for around 300 bucks I think they'll get at least 30-50 FPS which is playable.

Edit: Rex's benchmark link has no benchmark for any source games.

If I had a spare $400 around I might buy it. But an 8200? Doing all that? Wow.

You mean 300$ ^_^

Or did you just want to have 100$ left? xD

It can't do all of that. Something is amiss here.

Or $300.

That's what I'm asking. How is an 8200 with an AMD Sempron 2.23 GHz able to run Source at max when my AMD Athlon 2.2 GHz and 8600 on my old desktop config could only run Source at maybe medium-ish.

I don't understand what is so hard to believe about this. Why would I post saying it could do a bunch of stuff it can't do? It's not like I'm saying it runs Crysis or COD4.. Source games can run fine on some of the stufftiest computers I've ever seen. Why should a good computer have any trouble whatsoever?

Notice how my old desktop was slightly more powerful than yours, minus 1GB of RAM.

You can have less RAM and a more powerful computer.

Do you know anything?

My A+ certification would love to argue with you Inv3rted, but it's busy trying to sell my computer.  Of course I know that, and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with the 2.2Ghz Athlon, but really... Why in god's name does playing source games on an 8200 have to be impossible with you guys? It loving works. I play them all the time... For christ sakes... CS:S works on my mom's computer from when I was like 6.

Edit: Also, if you really want to keep complaining about something you aren't even going to consider buying, it has a free PCI Express x16 port to UPGRADE GRAPHICS WITH. There you go. Now leave.
