Pretty much gave up all interest in buying the game after I saw all of the bad reviews and high price.

I do like messing around in the creature creator, though. If anything, I might buy that.

Thoughts on the Mech parts:

loving awesome. It's a very small parts pack but the stuff you can do with it is pretty cool. From total robots to cyborgs, it's all insane.

I'm a little dissapointed in the final version of the game but It's still fun. I mainly mess around with the creators now.

Too time extensive. There aren't that many parts to make your creations look really cyborg-ish, not like the Grox.

Yeah, apparently Dr Pepper is holding some promotional with serial codes. You enter it on EA's site, you get the parts. Assuming its the right code :|

Which is hilarious because I befriend them and slowly decimate their planets by terraforming them to a way the Grox can't survive on. Slowly but surely I shall rid the galaxy of the Grox and they'll love me for it. The last planet will be a zoo for their remaining species. >:)

They vaporize if you put them on terraformed planets.
And they have thousands of planets, good luck with that.

Pretty sure there's a mod that only gives them 1 near the galactic core lol.

I never said I would grind all night to take care of that. lol It will be a very slow process but at least if I terraform the planets, it makes it nearly impossible for them to recolonize them after I wasted them. So the progress will be very slow and time consuming, but I expect to make it work out completely sometime next year.
