Can't Minimize/Alt Tab and computer shutdowns sometimes...

i have Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit, and its very annoying that i can't alt tab/windows key/click on links/minimize the game because i will crash when i return to the game . i am running with Compatibility Mode (WinXP SP3)
and if i don't use Compatibility everytime i click on a menu or at something in the main menu the game blinks (i mean the screen goes black for a millisecond and goes normal, like blinking)

and also after leaving the game open for some time at the main menu the screen goes off and moving the mouse(that should turn on the screen) doesn't work and only restarting the PC is possible.

Driver problem.  Win7 just doesn't work right yet.

Not happening to me. I have windows 7.
However, sometimes at random my blockland will stop working (the screen wont update unless I'm not on the client, basically me not being able to see what happens.)
