Maybe this is a personality flaw of mine, but it seems like 90% of everyone I know pisses me off in some way.
Like today, I was showing off some of the recent Hammer work I've been doing and talking about how I've drained about 70 hours into this project so far and my friend says that better work can be done in ten seconds with
this software. If you don't feel like reading Wikipedia, Alice is basically programming for people who can't program. The similar work he was talking about was picking out of five different options for clusters of buildings and placing them on a plane.
Essentially, 70 hours of my free time to him produced less quality work than five minutes in a program that coddles people who don't know how to use computers.
And furthermore, I'm the kind of person that if I don't care about something, I half-ass it. This can get me labeled as lazy, and this is pretty much true, but when I actually do do something that I put time and effort into making as good as I possibly can, it gets labeled as a waste of time.
WTF.
TL;DR: People are starfishs and finding 10-20 people that don't piss you off on a regular basis is more important than most of the bbrown town stuff we do on a regular basis.
