Author Topic: People piss me off.  (Read 4110 times)

Maybe this is a personality flaw of mine, but it seems like 90% of everyone I know pisses me off in some way.

Like today, I was showing off some of the recent Hammer work I've been doing and talking about how I've drained about 70 hours into this project so far and my friend says that better work can be done in ten seconds with this software. If you don't feel like reading Wikipedia, Alice is basically programming for people who can't program. The similar work he was talking about was picking out of five different options for clusters of buildings and placing them on a plane.

Essentially, 70 hours of my free time to him produced less quality work than five minutes in a program that coddles people who don't know how to use computers.

And furthermore, I'm the kind of person that if I don't care about something, I half-ass it. This can get me labeled as lazy, and this is pretty much true, but when I actually do do something that I put time and effort into making as good as I possibly can, it gets labeled as a waste of time.

WTF.

TL;DR: People are starfishs and finding 10-20 people that don't piss you off on a regular basis is more important than most of the bbrown town stuff we do on a regular basis.

little kids piss my off
when they attempt to play my games and ask me questions about every little thing
even when i've already answered them twice

except for this one kid who is smart as heck and talks at the speed of sound

I find actual programming easier than Alice  :cookieMonster:

But there still has to be something out there for the not-as-experienced-and-don't-have-time-to-become-more-experienced, doesn't there?

Yes.

I ride on a bus with little kids. They lack the skill of shut the forget up.

No. Alice is like a gigantic middle finger to anyone who has learned any programming language ever; programming isn't something that should be dumbed down. If you want to be a programmer, then you learn how to program, you don't download some software that lets you make cookie cutter games that no one will ever play or enjoy besides yourself. If you want to program, then take a damn class or learn it yourself from the ground up; probably the best method to learn anything related to computer software.

I hate people. Mexicans piss me off the most.

They insult you, tell you that you have a small snake, and other stuff like that. Then when you try to defend yourself, they threaten to Kill you and your family with their "Mexican Gang" And "call for back-up".

I just ignore the idiots entirely, they go away when they realize I'm not even looking or listening to them.

On the internet, I just shoot down anything they have to say, and they either spam and get kicked, or shut up.

Your space bar better be broken, because that is unacceptable.

My friends.

Flow chart of arguments:

Someones says something to piss me off on purpose.
I know I'm right, tell them they're wrong using rational arguments.
They use stupid people logic and laugh at me for getting worked up about something.
I get angrier and outline how they're an idiot and I'm right.
They through back an argument equivalent to "I know you are, but what am I?"
I get really mad, call them an idiot and storm off.
They think they won.

DAMMET.

here is what i do in real life and online
someone gets all angry about something and or insults me
I prove them wrong in a calm voice
they get angrier and call me a name
I laugh
they get angrier and position themselves to hit me
I stare at them and taunt them
and they sit down with a red face.

I win
