Author Topic: Being a loser pays these days  (Read 1942 times)

I've been out of a band for about six months now. Today at school, Me and a couple of friends who share the same lit class decided to bring two guitars and a ukulele. We wrote a dumb happy song in an elevator and decided to play for people coming and going from the elevator. We ditched that and played some improv to a random girl named Jessie. While playing for her, 60 or so people walked by, stopped, and listened.

We then decided to go play for our Lit teacher (who is hot). We played a couple of songs for her and a few others in her office. She loved them and asked us to play for some english honor meeting. We decided against it, but we ended up writing another song (Rousseau's Prison).

Literally minutes after writing it, we were playing for this meeting in front of about 35 people. We were introduced as "the band" which I thought was funny. We then were asked to play for another teachers' class. Following that, we were invitied to play for the induction of this club on the 27th. We'll be making $20 each...  for three songs.

This has been a most random and eventful day.

One time me and my friends got a couch, dragged it out to the street, got some instruments, made a sign with a picture that said "The Couch Potatoes", improvised some songs, and made about $35.

Cool story br0
Seriously, that's awesome :D

Haha I love this. Good job.

I put baby in elevator and he dances for money.

(not seriously, but I could. :o)

Form more songs, become a hit band, then get addicted to drugs, then fall, then go to rehab, then become famous.
