Unless engine change? Or not as many particles? Number 2 would still have lag due to big explosion. But, I know some game engines can survive a nuke, though I don't think Badspot would do it for a nuke.
Yes, the main reason for no mini-nuke is the enormous particle it produces, even worse is if it's re-sized X2.. If the particle was somehow shortened but also big it could be re-made..who knows if it will happen..sure miss it when it wasn't abused..

Instead someone could fix mini nuke and re-post it

I made a nuke with a mushroom cloud.
But its extremely laggy and its private fo that reason.
