Marines is a branch, not a group of soldiers. You'll find types all the way from grunts, to snipers, and elites.

I know. The Marine Raiders though were specially trained Marines that experience way more intense and close quarter combat than the normal Marine would. Refer to my quote that the Marine Raiders were the "elite among the elite".

To get in to the Marine Corp you only have to score a 32 on the ASVAB exam and in order to join the Army you must score a 55 on the same test and the PT

That is wrong, you only have to score a 45 to get into the Navy and a 30 to get into the Army, I got an 89 when I was going for the Navy and I am not all that smart so even a 55 is pretty stupid. And I met a guy at the MEPS that got into the Navy with a 41 and he had some kind of crazy job as a missile intercepter type deal.
