I'm pretty sure you almost all recorded musicians have some minor voice alterations to make them sound better, it's not just Lady Gaga.

She can sing, you probably just don't like her voice. Her music is decent, in my opinion, and just like Marilyn Manson in the 90s, her stage persona is supposed to be shocking. You guys are just doing exactly what she's expecting of you; to be stunned by how outrageous her act is.

also: The rumor about her being a hermaphrodite isn't true. I could put on a giant pair of fake tits and say I was born that way, and people would probably believe me. It's all an act to shock people who don't know what she's all about.

Got to the video link before I did but she had a hell of a lot of talent from that video and in typical music industry fashion, they bleach blonded her up and made her look like a slut. Not to mention she isn't singing any of her songs she came up with (that I know of, I don't own any of her albums) It just saddens me that a person has to sell out so much for a chance of fame these days. There's no identity save for what the record labels say everyone likes. She has a few rather catchy songs, but I just can't stand her looks so I never watch her videos. I know that's how her image is, but it's keeping me from obsessing over her like the labels want me to. Their loss.

Basically, pop music does suck, in my opinion. And please don't go comparing it to my music, because it's a different genre and, even though I have less experience, they could be so much better, really. What it comes down to is that to be that famous and to be that cliche is just gut-wrenching. My main concern is that he/she (either way) is singing lyrics written about loveual themes and junk and the videos aren't too great for the female love either. It's really demeaning if you're a girl these days and actually listening to this music, really.

I'm not comparing your music to Lady Gaga. You don't need to be a musician that does pop music to have voice alterations. Listen to any live performance and compare it to the recorded version. There is always a difference. It doesn't necessarily mean they're using voice alteration, though. Performing live, you have one chance to do it right. In the studio, you can mess up as many times as you'd like and keep going till you get it right.

and lol, the girls that are offended by loveual lyrics need to quit obsessing over their hymen. It's about Lady Gaga's experience, not theirs. Having one musician sing about love doesn't make every girl a whore. Madonna was doing it way before now, anyways.

The reason why I hate the fact that the music is loveual, is that she may be a he. If so, then that's completely loveist (technically, seeing as he's making himself out to be a female, which makes it loveist) and that's just not something I personally approve of.
