No one else laughed at Dkamm's quote?

Anyway, I don't think it's the grades that are the problem. I think it's the student to teacher ratio. When one teacher has only two eyes, they can't watch all the students at once and teach at the same time.
3 teachers in each classroom
since they are so expendable
it cant hurt to put more than one in a classroom.

/SOLVED

Some seniors are graduating highschool with being able to read and write.
The horror!

I wish my school would be focused more around technology, but the school district doesn't have any money because the Texas government is too busy counting it's 10 billion dollar surplus.

my school is too busy flaunting the comic sans font on the walls and focusing on how they won the civil war.

Schools (in the US) are funded by both local neighborhood land value tax, and state tax.

So there actually is a connection with living in a low income ghetto ass area, to bad education.

If that's true then I've been getting screwed since i first entered a school.

The only thing i truly hate about school is the useless homework. I know how to do the dam math problem do we need to go over it 20 more times and have 5 more pages of homework because some dumb ass didn't understand the homework bullstuff.

Problem: No Child Left Behind.

We'll if they are doing things right they should get funded by the government.

"But no, The schools didn't teach us what to do if you encounter a lion because they were too busy teaching us more important things like the State Capitals.

One of my friends got a detention for complaining how they have to let girls into a program.

This girl got in with 44th place out of like 54 and i got 22nd. I did not make it.  Totally corrupt.

thing being taught in school are not practical
just trivial

Lots of complaining but no solutions.

Teach the controversy!

If you walk into any public school and talk to any teacher, you will hear the same complaints: Too many children in the classroom, not enough supplies or text books, students unable to sit quietly or focus on the teacher, and of course, teachers not paid enough money. If the list goes further you will find the physical conditions of the school itself is faulty.

It has gotten to the point to where kids are bumped up a grade just because the teachers are tired of dealing with them. Some seniors are graduating highschool with being able to read and write.

Where did all of this crap begin?

I go to a public high school, and most of my classes (excluding gym/health) are full of empty seats. I have never heard of supply problems except with computers(the supply problems with them is idiots breaking them) and lab equipment. Students being unable to sit quietly or focus have been around forever. Nobody makes enough money if you ask them.

Repetition = Memorization.

My solution: get rid of school completely.  :cookieMonster:
I want to live in nation that has a failing economy (well, moreso than it is right now), mass starvation, and civil wars so I don't have to go to school!
