Dawn of war is not fantasy, fantasy games are boring.
Its futuristic.  Year 40,000
Its my best RTS and when ever I get bored I play this.
it never gets boring.

Red Alert 2 is better then 3.

RA 3 was just public research. The units were out of place, they got rid of many cool units and replaced them with stupid stuff. The infantry for example. The allies use to have trained soldiers (rifle men in red alert and GIs in red alert 2), now they have stupid riot officers.

Also should try Dune 2000.

Supreme Commander: FA is easily the most feature-rich  RTS I've ever played. Lots of base/unit building to be had, and really high unit caps if you like.

I actually saw some stuff on Supreme Commander: FA a while ago. It looks like just the game I'm looking for, but I'm worried my computer won't be able to handle it.

I might look at the the Red Alert series, never played one of them before.
