I have the BF:BC2 Beta. It's pretty fun. Though, it only allows 1 map.

I really wanted to try out Battlefield for awhile...

Would a 2.6 GHZ Intel Duo core, 4 GiB of ram and, nVidia 7300 LE 1.4 GiB would do tis?

The videocard is what screws you over, it doesn't even hit minimum specs. Everything else is fine, though.

I would love to try the beta. I've been a fan of the Battlefield series since 1942 and can't wait to try the latest one. Plus, I am wondering whether it would be a good thing to ask for an upcoming birthday, and trying out the beta would be the best way to find out.

My specs are: Intel 2.66ghz Core i7 920, 6gb of DDR3 RAM, and an ATI Radeon HD 5970, all running on Windows 7. Maybe a little bit overkill for the Frostbite engine, but what the heck, it's a great computer.

This game seems pretty loving demanding.
Its recommended specs are a GTX 260 and an Intel Core 2 Quad, but I can see why.
