There are artists from those genres that aren't really good at what they do, and those are the ones you see and then consider the entire genre to be awful.

I said generally. I like the Empire State and TiK ToK by Ke$sha is pretty good. But all the rest like Owl City, Taylor Swift, Rihana, Beyonce, etc. just keep making this stuff that is entirely made by changing a person's voice on a sound editor (Does not count for Swift cause he likes to suck naturally)

Tick Tock is horrendous.

Empire State of Mind makes me think of the film 2012.

Me personally I dislike most modern music. I'm not saying it's bad, it just doesn't fit my taste.

Although there are bands I will go out and say they are bad. Namely bands like greenday, hyped up music that really isn't good at all.
