I found a way around that bug. You have to stuff your inventory full in order to pick up ammo, least in my case. Kinda sucks but it slightly workable around.

So, is the new ammo system one where you can't have infinite reloading ammo? Or is it just different ammo types for different weapons, although reloading is infinite? Or can you not show any details?

My best guess on what's causing is some sort of recognition error. But we'll let Bushido handle it.

Different ammo types for different weapons, you run out of magnum ammo for a snub nose, and you have a semi-auto magnum, neither will shoot.(Ammo is pooled)

I had similar trouble when I was hosting bushido's beta too man. I can sympathize
