will probably be renamed, maybe 'deploy tier' or something: basically, it's a tier of objects that can be deployed into the world, like crates and barricades and machineguns. some of the structures are more useful/powerful then others, and they'll be split into two groups

headshot someone, and you do extra damage and 'concuss' (stun) them for a breif second. too long for you to fire again, but short enough for someone to jam a shot in to finish them off

yeah the LMG is offset by it's sheer quirkiness and the fact it slows you down.
talkin' about the LMG, the idea that l4d2 had with their LMG is being ported over to the Automatic Rifle, which might be in 2A: basically, it's an automatic rifle! it headshots (for instant-kill damage!), has a hugeass (relatively) magazine, but only has like 22 shots before it's empty and can never be reloaded again

the name is definately gonna be used at some point: the idea i had (several times) is that the hunting shotgun is a set-ammo weapon, that has 2 INCREDIBLY loving POWERFUL rounds that pierce players and bounce off walls, making it ridiculously powerful in all aspects

however not nearly as powerful as the RPG or the Grenade Launcher

RingsOfSaturn really loves that on my server he can generally down chopper pilots within a few shots with the standard pistol...

I sure do love doing that. It's so easy.
