Make sure you have critical hit emotes, RTB, and the default gun.

stunt.
learn some torquescript, edit scripts, then host server with non-hitscan weapons.

Thanks for the sugestions.

I have checked, I have Tier 1A, I have RTB and I have the critical hit emote (space guy's) and I have the default gun.  Still no sign of Tier 2

... When I open up a sever I get two red messages under the welcoming message saying something about a file for the Dule SMGS not exsisting and the same for a kuri (?) I think it may be a melee weapon the TF2 melee pack...

Do I still need that then?

Stunt, Tribes ascend's pistols and sniper rifles are hitscan. Tribes, as some of you know, takes a lot of skill to play. Is the game a ruined casual peice of stuff? No, it isn't. Hell, the sniper rifle in tribes 2 was hitscan.

In a similar vein, a predominant amount of sniper-style weapons are either hitscan, or the bullets move at the point just before hitscan (making it almost moot anyway). Thus if anything, T+T is bringing something in from it's big daddy shooter age.

but the sniper rifle in both tribes
1. isn't a one hit kill even on a headshot
2. takes skill to aim due to how fast people move in tribes games
blockland doesn't have people moving as fast as tribes, so making all weapons projectile based is feasible for every weapon, including sniper rifles
also i've already sent the t:a team an email about making pistols projectile based and buffing their damage

You must not have seen the Agility/TF2Scout playertypes then.

Or crouch jumping spazz players

they still move slowly enough to snipe people with projectiles
Or crouch jumping spazz players
aim at where they're going to land, most people like that uncrouch right before hitting the ground

At least with Bushido's hitscan sniper you actually have to aim to take out an enemy with one shot. then there are the projectile version snipers that are more overpowered then the hitscan sniper. Insta-kill no matter what happens. That takes skill?

Bushi should make tier 3 weapons.

Hard to get a headshot though, so you'll only hurt them and tell them where you are.

you just answered your own question there

And just ignore my point.
