loving labels. All of these immature cigarettes label each other. Jock. Prep. Goth. Nerd. Etc.

What the hell.

Stop being weird and constantly complementary. Duh.
When someone is upset, you try to cheer them up.

Yes, but when chucking compliments doesn't work, you should resort to a new strategy.
I would, but I can't even get within hugging distance of her without her shrieking and running away from me.
I hug her once.  Once. Or maybe five times.
And she gets post-traumatic-stress-disorder for the rest of her life.
:C
And she's your friend? Are you quite sure?

I got homework the first day of the semester and out robotics team build crew is going faster than the design team (which I am on) and is forcing us to do a bunch of things that they just end up throwing away.
FIRST Robotics competition?

Exactly.
She's a bit of a klutz, but even that she amplifies to the point where she's literally making me more depressed than normal.
And keep in mind this is all through texting (I can't actually hold a conversation without her becoming frightened) so it's completely text, thus no visual emotion.

Thank GOD she has grammar as good as mine, or I may end up killing her.

And she's your friend? Are you quite sure?

No, she's definitely my friend.
That was actually a slight exaggeration.  She only goes into her PTSD state when I threaten to hug her/get close to her.
Especially when I sneak up behind her and whisper in her ear, "Hi Zozo."
She screams and runs away.  On normal occasions.

She sounds like some professional help wouldn't be a bad idea.

Meh.
She kind of hates everybody who is a person.
So that might not work.

FIRST Robotics competition?

Yes

I shouldn't say too much about it though, our team likes to keep it a secret so other teams don't steal stuff from us

Sounds like it would be a really GOOD idea. Unless it's some stupid phase.

I'm on the programming team. No secrets 4 me?

EDIT: I just realized this is way offtopic.

I HATE PEOPLE WHO KEEP SECRETS!  :cookieMonster:

Doubleedit: Are you using any kind of special wheels? (say omni, or mecanum wheels? we are...)

I don't know.
I don't think depression is a phase most teenagers go through.
And I don't exactly want to keep talking about it.

she's a teenaged girl, she's hormonal. she's going to have angst.

That's reassuring.
Now let's move off this topic, shall we?
