Computer Forensics is not hacking. I guess you'll learn this on your course.  :cookieMonster:
No it's not, but it gives me access to resources in which I can always learn on the side. It's not difficult to trace an IP address to a mailing address. Even Google can teach me that. lol

Still, tracing an ip to an actual absolute home address is still quite an advanced task. Learning how to search for files (computer forensics) isn't gonna teach you how to hax an ISP or something and grab their ip assignment stuff.

Well if you really want to be a 1337 h4xz0r! go do some network security, once you know how it works you can get around it.

Haha, that's a lie.

Oh?
Well, I mean it helps a lot, doesn't it?
No self-respecting business owner would hire an uneducated man, I should hope.

I dont think I ever faked school...

EDIT: Go die in a hole if you have nothing better to do but learn.

I suppose it really depends on how I choose to apply myself after I earn my degree. I can use it as the open to a job in national security and work for Uncle Sam and I'm sure if I requested it, I can eventually branch out into something more related to my threat. Although by the time that happens, I doubt I'd care enough to go through with it. But I do know and understand that this job isn't as "cool" as all the CSI shows show it to be. I'm simply doing it because I spend most of my time on the computer as is. I might as well earn money for it while I am here.

Wait, is this saying people who rage over him not going to school should die in a hole, or the guy who skipped should die in a hole? oh dear i do hope its the first one

You know, its really none of our business whether this boy goes to school or not.
Better accept what we can't change and is generally inconsequential, rather than create a jaded individual.

I mean, come on guys. Its one day of school. I don't think I ever learned something so groundbreaking in one day that I would have failed if I missed it.

University is a different kettle of fish, but I don't think this guy is talking about that.

Exactly. Thats why I made the rage post on page 6.

Which was confusing. :/

Because an A+ student like me that has a GPA of 3.5 is totally going to work at McDonald's.
A+ students have a 4.0 GPA lol

We're giving him stuff cause he bragged about it on the forums.

Doesnt this happen whenever people say they skipped school, whether or not if they are bragging?
