Traitor(AKA Trouble In Terrorist Town)is a gamemode on garrys mod.


Traitors:A group of people are randomly selected to be traitors, there job is to kill the innocent without getting caught doing so.
            They are able to drag and hide the bodys.
            They must work together to fill the innocent with bullets.

Innocent:Most of the players will be selected to be the innocent, who can they trust and who is out to fill them with bullets?
              They must stick together to survive the round.                                                                                                                                    They are just like any other normal player, nothing special.
              But the thing is, the innocent don't know who are the traitors or the innocent, so they cant just say that someone is a traitor cause                they could be innocent.

Detectives/Loyalist:A small group of people are selected to be detectives/loyalist, everyone knows that there innocent so                                                          that makes them a good target for the traitors
                              They have a radar that can detect the innocent and the traitors, but it goes off every 25 seconds.


Karma:No this is not a team, this is where if you betray(kill your teamates) too many times or if your karma gets too low you                                    either will get kicked/banned.


Other Info:Everyone will spawn with a melee weapon a like the crowbar or the baseball bat(the host/admin will pick) , they will be                                   able to pick up other weapons and equipment.

I think I saw a video of a gamemode similar to this on Gmod; except there was only one, and they were in a mansion. Looked fun.

The traitors could start openly deathmatching people if they're good to win, if they have equal or better weapons/skills than the innocent players.

Any player who knows they are innocent could just shoot up everyone else, regardless of team, for their side to win as they'd be an innocent survivor.

That's where karma comes in, if you are innocent and if your karma gets too low then you either get kicked/banned or auto killed.

Example:I decide im going to be an starfish and kill random people, if I kill too many innocents and I am innocent I'll either get kicked/banned or auto killed

Besides if traitors actually would be handicapped and start shooting everyone then the admin could just ban their ass, and you start out with a crowbar on garrys mod so why not make everyone spawn with a melee weapon like the crowbar or the baseball bat

A game mode shouldn't cause you to become banned from the server for attempting to win. Fix the actual mechanics of the game instead of the admins having to threaten everyone to play it "in character".

Yeah this was in Garry's mod. Is fun though

That's just how they play it in garrys mod. it's not my rules, and besides people dont really betray one another.

And I highly doubt anyone is actually going to make this gamemode.

This is blockland, not garry's mod.

It would work better if there was all innocents and guards. One innocent is message on round start "You have been chosen as an undercover assassin" They have to kill all the other innocents. The guards have to find which innocent is the assassin and kill him. If the guards kill an innocent that isn't the assassin, they are taken out of the round, like losing a life.

The secretism bit of the innocents not knowing what team people are would be a bit odd, mainly because in Gamemodes, the 'XXX has join <team>' message appears...

I had this idea earlier but I didn't say anything.

better idea, everybody has one life, an assassin, and if the guards kill somebody and somebody else dies after, they die

If there are about equal numbers of guards and innocent players or more guards, they could each just shoot one person on the innocents team as it's likely they'll get the traitor before all are dead.

The game would generally be boring for the innocent players: they get nothing to do at all except wait to die. This gets worse if you try and add even more innocent players to fix the other thing I mentioned.
