Take out your GPS. Then walk around for awhile. You'll soon get a 'blip' on your GPS telling you there has been a sighting near by. Go toward the area, approach with caution. Increase your tracking gauge shown by the 3 circles in the GPS top bar by picking up data like foot prints and deer dung.
The more tracking you have on a target. The easier they are to find.

After you've shot it. If the deer runs away, don't think you've missed. Follow the deer's path. Sure enough, it will collapse and you'll either have to finish it off, or confirm it's death.

I already hate this game because I can't run it.

It would be better if it gracefully handled lower settings, but instead it tries and fails to render everything just as nice but blockier. Like the trees. They look like absolute stuff.

Valve games have always been good at looking good at lower settings and stunning at higher settings.

Because valve's engine at it's core is quake.
Just because you can't run it, doesn't make it worth hating.

Lower your settings. Run it at a lower resolution.
