Author Topic: Football? This weekend? Oh... okay.  (Read 4392 times)

No. It's much more fun to watch when they actually, you know, SCORE.

In soccer they run around for 90 minutes and end up with a final score of like 0-0, and if one team gets lucky, 1-0.

this is why they get paid millions :o

im not really into any sports much.

but football bores me almost as much as baseball. the "action" lasts all of about 15 seconds every 10 minutes.

i rmember watching the playoffs for the basketball when that white guy made a hail mary :U

The only time I watch sports at all is when the college football team from the college my grandfather went to is playing. I really don't find sports all that interesting.

On a similar note, I'm being dragged to a "Soup-er Bowl" party this afternoon by my dad where everyone brings soup. :/

Also, I'm currently reminiscing my first and only forum ban which included sports and me posting an uncaring post. >_>

and anyone that says they watch it for the commercials is a tool.

/istool :(

I love when someone makes a topic like this and it just gets to be people shouting COLTZ or SSAINTZ.

"OMFG, THIS IS THE GREATEST MOMENT IN HISTORY. FORGET ABOUT THE DISCOVERY OF PENICILLIN OR THE INVENTION OF AUTOMOBILES.
YOU HAVE JUST SEEN A MAN DO WHAT HE WAS PAYED TO DO!"
this

Also I don't get why people get so up in arms when they see Americans talking about football. They just go batstuff insane and start yapping off about how European football is better or some stuff.

I can't wait to see the day a European country makes an American football team and then try to face off against an American team.

It's definitely alot more boring than a good game of blurnsball.

American football = rugby with more padding

Don't forget the action stops every 15 seconds. Rugby doesn't.

US Football<European Football<Rugby.
