This is my question, what was the first mod ever and who was it made by?

and I don't mean a default one.

Also is it still downloadable?

It is not Downloadable as the way add-ons work has changed.

The earliest add-on I remember downloading was Kaje's stunt plane.

I think there are older ones, though.

However, what you consider the "first mod" may not be... As are you only considering Retail mods, or ones for Vanilla/ 1.045?

When and if we find out for sure what the first mod was it should be put in default add-ons. But maybe not because then it wouldn't work cause....
