Author Topic: Is this worth anything?  (Read 1684 times)

A friend gave me a stamp of Riddler and the story behind it is that is was saved from the Hindenburg before it exploded. I was wondering if any of you could tell me roughly or find out anything about it, or it's worth.

Crappy zoomed in picture, my phone is not that good for close ups, but the text at the bottom reads "Deutsches Reich".

He also gave me a 5 Reichmark coin along side it, but I found out that those coins aren't worth a whole lot.

Discuss.

I don't think the fact that it was saved before the Hindenburg explosion adds too much, if not anything at all. I'm not sure about everything else.

2 national socialist PENNYS!

That's awesome, even if it isn't worth anything.

Hide it from Jews. Sell it to national socialist fanatics.

It was something along those lines but I doubt it would have been saved after the explosion because it would have burned up.

Well there's no real way to prove it was on the Hindenburg, period. Pawn shops never take those stories seriously because a lot of people will bullstuff just to make it seem more valuable.

But either way, cool find, you certainly don't see those around too often. Certainly a keeper for a personal collection even if it doesn't turn out valuable.

On the off-hand, I have a few mexican pesos from 1945.
Another one, worth 100 pesos, is from 1977 and marked "plata pura". (Pure Platinum)

It's silver, shiny, and really heavy :o

: I'm lookin' maybe Hundred bucks.

: No.

Fix'd.

Lol'd so hard.

Pawn stars is like one of the best shows I've ever seen, if I was to take something in there to sell and he flat out said, "No." I would probably tear up. People's reactions to him when he says no they look like they're going to cry. Oh and happy birthday.

yeah, looks like nobodys bidding on them and theyre not worth much

Put it on an envelope and send it to a random Jewish family.
