Well, DL milkshape. I found a good starting tutorial that guides u through making a snowman I think.

http://biorust.com/index.php?page=tutorial_detail&tutid=81&lang=en

I figure the best way of learning is actually appllying it to something so instead of telling u how to create your own, this will guide you along making this snowman, thus teaching you in the process. YAY!

And I r teh naught mangobean >:(

If you want to learn how to use Blender, I recommend watch Super3Boy's blender tutorials. Just YouTube Super3Boy. He may go beyond Blockland's capacity, but you'll learn neat tricks to do advanced things really quickly.

Any computer programing is hard. Even with the tutorial it takes a while to learn. Backround knowledge helps, about 0.8%, the 99.2% will be hard without lots and lots and lots of practice.

I have some basic experience with anim8or which is a crappy program anyway. :nes:

In the most recent post I thought it was going to say "So i'm thinking of leaving"

I use this: http://www.gryllus.net/Blender/3D.html Its quite decent.

When the page opens up, click on learning units.

Same here.

I have blender, but I don't know what the appropriate scale for BL would be. That, and I can't script for my life

I have blender, but I don't know what the appropriate scale for BL would be. That, and I can't script for my life

Appropriate scale: Blockperson's hand is about 3x3x3 large squares(not tiny ones inside)

And good news! I made my first model... model's parts anyway. I can't figure out why I can't name them differently or color them. When I try, they all get colored. I tried unlinking them and for some reason, only certain ones get colored which is pissing me off. So i'm back you guys's recomended tutorials again T_T

Btw, thanks for not totally flaming my lack of knowledge :P
