Author Topic: BBCode?  (Read 841 times)

Would it be possible to incorporate BBCode into Blockland?

And since some people will argue "But unfinished tags like '[img' will spam the chat!!"
Well, make it so that if the tag is incomplete, it will NOT enter the chat, instead you get an error message saying "Sorry, you tags were incomplete"
OR, make it so that if the tags are incomplete then the chat enters the chat , but the tags are deleted.

I can see people spamming rather unlikable GIFs.

displaying images in blockland in the same manner as bbcode is impossible. the only way to insert images into the chat is to force download it to the client when they join the server and display the bitmap.

as for italics and bold, I don't know if blockland can access font's difference typefaces.

Big. forget Ass. Bump.

Unneeded. Been explained:

You can do a lot of BBC commands through eventing.

Actually, all fonts that exist on your computer.

Don't Macs and Windows have different default fonts? So there's no way of telling that everyone will see your custom font.
