No I'm talking about love. Don't make it the subject of your whole life, but at the same time don't forget about it.

Its like a side quest in an MMO that offers enough experience for getting from level 72 to level 78.
Okay, its good for you, I admit that, and you have a point there, but making it a goal doesn't really seem to work. It's absence just makes people more edgy.
I'm not suggesting he preserve his virginity. I am suggesting that he makes that a slightly longer term goal. Lumping all these things makes such a large change difficult, and it will be easier to break habits by easing into them.

True.
Just saying, I mean I don't want him to end up like Andy in The 40 Year Old Virgin.

I think that feeling is mutual.  :cookieMonster:

Lets discuss your job.
What pay bracket is it? Sort-of, store clerk? Shop assistant? Secretary?

So, a generic job.
Presuming you have a soul, I would guess that it doesn't match your interest.
Let's brainstorm.

So, what are your interests? Computers? Music?
What does your education qualify you for?
Would you be satisfied with a salesman job at a place that sold things you liked?

5. Do not plea for sympathy

We're simply talking it through.
If he was all suicidal and complaining, then there'd be a problem. I don't see pleas. He was just asking what to do with his life.

I'm surprised how well this thread is going, very serious indeed :o But you know if somebody less known posted something like this, a lot of people would flame it with the Rule #5 Flamethrower.

So you like Computers, Art, music etc.
That is pretty standard, and I think a lot of people can relate to that!

Now,
What does your education qualify you for?
Would you be satisfied with a salesman job at a place that sold things you liked?
Are you in a location that has stores which sell PC's/PC parts/Art supplies/Music, and would you be willing to work in those?
