I'm not sure if anyone has suggested this yet.. One way for your son to make a group of friends is to join a clan. Most clans require an application to join. I havn't seen your son build or use the eventing system, but when he becomes good enough he could apply to a clan for a nice, quick group of friends.

Hey all-- Burp! will be back Sunday afternoon. His usual schedule with me is Sunday thru Wed. I can't tell you enough how happy this thread has made him... He feels really popular, and good about himself and his efforts. He got 50 bucks from grandpa, and his first thought was to buy his dad BL so we could play together. Sweet, eh? He sat down the other day and read the whole thread from start to finish.

Right now, he's big on searching for mods, but we'll probably look at events soon. A clan is a good idea, but still content to go slowly with it all.

So, in short, a great big thanks to the BL community!

Tell him to try around some clans. Making a clan when you're new is sort of a bad idea. Many clans range from difficulty of getting in, so he might have to build some skill to get in the clan he wants.
