I'm pretty sure that was in V2.000 or something.

Anyways, as far as text above people's heads, I think Kalph is right, I can't think of any way to pull it off.

For text above the head, you can mount an empty on the head, and use shapename on that. As far as I know, you can use shapename on anything but playertypes.
