My brother who is a Halo Fancigarette when it comes to this: Spartans are genetically en-hanced humans.
Well, they are.
But they shouldn't ninja jump, armor should be too heavy.
Unless they're naked. Which would be scary.

You loving made that stuff up
ARC doesnt have the skills/too lazy to make that.

I think halo was to good to have a anime setting.

Its what happens when you let let Japanese  have a slice of the pie.

Not that i hate anime, i love it.

I just think halo should have stuck with something like this.

In the books, as the armor has motors and is actually a powered exoskeleton, Spartans easily could do that. You were just hell underpowered in the game in that respect, but then again you could also slaughter the Covenant easily, whereas in the books a bunch of Jackals got the Master Chief all aflutter.

I hate it when people don't keep games, movies, and books all consistent.
It gets everyone confused like this.

It really does.

The Elites in the books are goddamn monsters. Chief wrestles with one in hand to hand after the immediate plot of Halo and gets the stuff punched out of him, yet the game made them rather weak.

In regards to that video, why is there an explosion at the end? When the Spartan goes all bro-fist with that Brute? Do they accidentally cause nuclear fusion or something? Damnit, I thought that sort of thing stayed with Dragon Ball Z.

What did you play on, Easy?

This is 500 years in the future. The armor could be more lightweight than it looks. Plus, I think one of the books said that the armor has built in motors, so that would help with reflexes and whatnot.

But they should have stuck to gunfights, not this hand-to-hand crap. Heck, even if the MC was shooting a pistol bullet to stop a sniper bullet, it would be far better than this. There hasn't been too many animes with gunfights and this could have been very promising. I might even make my own lame cartoon version and it will probably have better fight scenes than this. But I really like the characters of this anime.

EDIT:

The books have to make everything 10x as hard because if they didn't, the plot would suck. Would it be really interseting to read, "Then the Master Chief took out 40 grunts and 2 elites. He ran to the next room and killed 5 elites, one of which was cloaked. He took the sword. A hunter ran into the room. He killed it with the sword. He tea-bagged the body."

What did you play on, Easy?
Even in Hard they were manageable.
Easy was a joke.

I got there first.  :cookieMonster:

I saw after I posted... :(

But think about this, what materials would be that bulky and still be lightweight(no not Glass Armor guys)? And the bult in motors, how would that make some dude jump 60 feet in the air. Unless they are on another world where there is hardly any gravity, I don't find it likely.
I would of rather seen some gunfights though.
