"A hunter ran into the room. He killed it with the sword. He tea-bagged the body."
LOL

I saw after I posted... :(
You're right though. They really should have stuck to gunfights, or replicated a hand-to-hand fight that is done in the books. Doing something like the above just makes me cringe.

But think about this, what materials would be that bulky and still be lightweight(no not Glass Armor guys)? And the bult in motors, how would that make some dude jump 60 feet in the air. Unless they are on another world where there is hardly any gravity, I don't find it likely.
I would of rather seen some gunfights though.
First, Spartans are severely genetically engineered. They were injected with all sorts of crap to increase muscle density, reaction time and bone strength, etc.
Second, MJOLNIR armor is essentially an exoskeleton. The old models were described as something akin to the cargo loader from Alien. It is self powered, and augments the user's strength hugely, and serves as a writers convenience half the time.
Spartans have done similar in the books, but this is the largest exaggeration yet.

snip:

The UNSC research facilities wanted the whole Marine division to have protective armor like so, they tested on a Marine. When he slightly moved his arm in a handshake position it moved so fast his bones were smashed inside, and his muscle tissue started to shred.

How about it's a loving video game.
Leave it at that.

Case in point.

How about it's a loving video game.
Leave it at that.
Yay.

This is not Halo. This is just another bullstuff anime with Halo characters.

That particular episode. I'd like to see the stuff done by the other studios, though, before I write it off.

I always thought of it as a not serious comedy version of the actual game.

Its like trying to create an anime version of Starwars. loving flying 120ft in the air with space bikes and monsters that have lasers coming out of their eyes.

Clone Wars series in a nutshell.

Already saw it, the only good part is at the end.
The rest is just hypnotizing anime eyeballs.

Would you guys support me if I made my own anime/cartoon on the subject? I might not be as pretty, but it would at least be made of good stuff and beef jerky. If I do do it, your inputs would be very welcome.

Cool stuff. Sure.

I'll just take the time to point you Here-ward. Its another Halo fan project. Its a live-action Halo movie.
