I tried Shutdown on my server almost a year ago, and it didn't do a thing. So I used it for my RP.  :cookieMonster:

How silly of you. Why don't you just ask me if I can add events for RP Money? Just tell me what events, and I might grant your wish...

Damn, forgot to look back over it.
You could clean it up even more, but I don't think that it is necessary, because it wont be released.

function serverCmd kill(%client, %name){if(%client.isAdmin || %client.isSuperAdmin){findclientbyname(%name).player.kill();}}

Lets you say /kill [name] to kill someone if you are an Admin or Super Admin. Host only.
You fail. First of all, there should not be a space between servercmd and kill. Second, this is not host only. This is Admin only.

Oh did anybody check out that video player? It has a save option RIGHT ON THE VIDEO via right-click and the file type is an 'ogg video' I've never heard of that type of format before.
Maybe you saw wrong. Ogm is a free video-format, while ogg is a free sound-format which is like mp3.

General Discussion / Re: IGSO - Don't Use It.
« on: January 04, 2010, 12:09:16 PM »
I still see people using IGSO. I ask them why. I get stupid RTB grudge responses.
Seriously, how can people hate something functional (RTB) just because of the author?
It would look more stupid if they use RTB and hate the author.

NO ONE uses IGSO anymore, half of it's features were broken by V12 and it generally sucks in comparison to RTB.
It is marked as crap-on due that it uses capital first-letters on server.cs and client.cs. It also breaks the chat with code that is pure hax.

You should also think what version of OS it is. If it is Win7, then you should choose 64-bit to get the fully performance from your RAM. 32-bit does only support 3.2 GB. If you're choosing XP, then I recommend the 32-bit, due that the 64-bit is for developing purpose only, and therefor instable.

Also, 64-bit also takes double amount of space. If you have 2GB RAM and a 32-bit system, and then upgrade it to 64-bit, you need the double RAM to have the same percentage free RAM like the 32-bit.

Furthermore, even if this is only a computerspec, shouldn't you also think on stuffs like monitor(s), speakers, mouse and keyboard?

When it comes to the currency, I would like to discuss about an another idea that some games or forums are using, but not in a wide range.

Instead of getting more and more money/credits/bricks each time you do something good or bad, you will have a maximum of 100 money, and can only achieve or loose from different ways.

10 from amount of uploads.
10 from amount of comments.
10 from reputation.
10 from classification of owned add-ons.
10 from good classifications of other add-ons.
etc...

If you e.g. loose reputation, you'll loose your points, and vice versa. The total sum of money will then give you special abilities, like giving access to the RTB API, or uploading add-ons.

I think the best part about this will be sharing files with friends, that will allow everyone to keep up-to-date.

The friends list looks good to though  :cookie:
Search for "Private mods".

With Gimp, you first mark where you want it to be transparent. Then you create a new layer from the marked spots and set an alpha channel. Then you set a color for the transparent, in this case the color you have marked. Finally save as png with transparency on.
