« on: January 28, 2013, 10:17:50 PM »
Hi i'm Popeye (T.S.M.), BLID 1012 and I would like to be a beta tester because i am fantastic at finding ways out of maps and other glitches.
See http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=96446.0 "Popeye helped me find some glitches."
See also http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=86397.0 "Sameless Exploit finder Achieved by Popeye (T.S.M.)"
Also, as a cubescapist, i'd go with the dirt and rate it an 8.5/10

Help / Re: Graphics Card for Blockland
« on: January 08, 2013, 12:36:14 AM »
I'm gonna return to your original inquiry.  All computers and laptops are assembled, and therefore can be taken apart.  Generally, this voids the warranty, however, your computer sounds old enough where your warranty is gone already.  The i3 processor which is pre-installed in your laptop acts as the graphics card.  I think currently, they sell i7, maybe even i8 chips which are amazingly better.  I'm running an i5 on my laptop and blockland works beautifully.  Clearly though, a better chip would work better.  I recommend you consider purchasing an i5 or greater processor for your laptop, open up your laptop, and replace the old one.  I had an old Toshiba and did a similar fix, but I was fixing a detached piece on the motherboard.  Your laptop is most likely a bunch of screws, a few pieces of tape, and a couple wire detachments away from your goal.  If you need assistance with this job, there are a plethora of videos and tutorials specific to both what you're trying to do, and with your specific laptop.  Good luck!

Help / Re: VCE Help Needed (Randomizing)
« on: January 07, 2013, 08:45:39 PM »
Thanks!  :cookieMonster: It works perfectly! Unfortunately 50 different spawns exceeds 100 lines of eventing, so I have to limit it, but it works like a charm!

Meant to say "VCE_ifvariable" not "if_modvariable"

Help / VCE Help Needed (Randomizing)
« on: January 06, 2013, 07:04:44 PM »
I'm trying to have a variable given a random number (will be 1-50, but in testing is 1-3).  This number is then being used via if_modvariable to assign the player to a certain (random) place for spawning.  I cannot seem to either get modvariable Random to work, or am using it incorrectly.  Help?

If pictures would be helpful let me know, I can easily post some.

Can someone make a loop of Wolgang Gartner's "Redline"?  I have an mp3 of it if that helps at all.

can anyone tell me who he is?
Woodland Creature was "the spammer" of blockland.  He used some kgfsdhkl of lfjhd to spam text lines near what seemed to me like 30lines per second.

General Discussion / Re: Nostalgia

I joined in v0002 and i remember a stuffload.  My builds were crap, add-ons were scarce, and clans, REAL ones, were abundant.  Just from the past in general, i remember a few old stories.
First off, i attended the release of the Afghan DM.  The best weapon (in my opinion) on the map to find was the Uzi, the original one.  If you have the Mac10, it was much better.
Second story: I was at the release of Jirue's Ice Palace.  We crammed the max into  jeep and headed off down the road.  At the "end, it split, the left leading to a crappy farm and a basic house which is no longer there.  To the right was a toll booth and the access to the actual palace.  i don't remember the palace being any different than it is now.
In continuation from there, Jirue cleared bricks and loaded some forest build (which i have because as a n00b you like to save things which look cool).  it is a generic forest, the trees about 32 tall and covering the entire rooom-like area.  Within, there are multiple treehouses and a cave entrance.  The cave lead's through a small obstacle course then to an altar with a sword.
Story no. 3: Cog's Click Challenge.  This came out i think when events did basically (v9-10 idk).  If you havent seen or played it, it is a largescale obstacle/challenge course involving what were new events at the time.  i would highly recommend finding someone who has it (like me) and asking to play it.
i could go on and on, but im sure most people are tired of reading this long thread.  If you want more nostalgic stories, message me or just ask for them in the thread.
