General Discussion / Re: Are copy and pasting prints bannable?

On Topic: Very unlikely for that to happen. Especially if you put like who made them or where theyre from.
Off Topic: The only reason I clicked this is because I thought the thread was titled "Are copy and pasting bananable"

@Maya67
Eventually when I get a more 'stable' computer, I will most likely be hosting build servers and stuff. I am also looking to learn events again because I used to love them.

Like Bones4's titanic build that's been taking years and years to finish
Yeah I saw that in the Gallery. Believe it or not, I faintly remember visiting the server with him a long time ago. He was building a ship but I don't know if its the Titanic he has today but I remember it was only like the lower half finished and a few interior rooms. It was like the Titanic with the top half cut off because it wasn't finished. He was getting mad at someone for something but its hard to remember what. I don't know it may have been like a prototype or an idea but it looked pretty big.

I bought this in 2008 and the biggest change I really see is people don't build anymore. It's really sad
We both bought it around the same time haha. Im sure some people still build though. Right?
10% newbies, 60% kids, 10% spammers/trolls, 20% decent (depending on who you are the 10% can combine with the 20%)
What about all the servers on the Blockland site? There has to be more decent people with those kinds of servers. I mean most of them look pretty cool.

Haha that is a funny way to put it. Anyways I remember the actual game community wasn't so much like that. It was about 40% newbies, 25% little kids, 10% spammers/trolls, 5% stuck up members, 20% decent people to talk to and build with. I may be a little off with those numbers but thats pretty much how I remember it.

Ahhhh, just as I remember it. Seriously, according to that logic, it hasn't changed a bit haha.

Games / Re: Grand Theft Auto Megathread

do you think the laser sights and gunplay in general will work like it did in max payne 3?
i like max payne 3
I would bet on it. Im pretty sure they tryed to incorporate many of their previous games into a single product. Max Payne (weapons), Red Dead Redemption (landscape, wildlife), Midnight Club (vehicles), and just GTA for everything else. Just my opinion though since the game isn't actually out.

i was referring to the haughty attitude most of them hold for the sole reason that they have a low ID, probably should have made that clearer.

like as in people who are old think that being old makes you superior when in most cases it doesn't
Okay, okay I'm sorry if I sounded 'haughty' in my post. Trust me, I couldn't give less stuffs about a stupid number. Let's just leave it at that please.
The nostalgia of the game died when maps got deleted, making it the next COD didn't solve anything, in fact, should of been with the game to begin with.
Yeah I haven't seen much gameplay recently but I had a feeling something like that would be happening with the removal of the classic maps.

i laugh when people think they're really old and special because their ID is under 10k
I really didnt want to use the word old because the 'old' members back when I played was like everyone under 800 pretty much. But I didn't want to use the word 'retired' or anything weird.

@Mr.Noßody
Very informative breakdown. I will definitely be trying to get back into events and building once i get a 'stable' computer. Also just to let you know, you're name is very familiar.
It's ok, Jirue, you never changed. ;)
That is a name I disinctly remember. I think it was because of a bunch of add ons or something that he made.

And also I was really annoying in my opinion 5 years ago so I dont feel like sharing my old name. :/

Yeah you may or may not remember my old username. I believe I was in a few servers with you, however I hate my 11-year old self (my age last time I played Blockland) so I prefer that nobody remembers me anyway. :)

In response to your old question, there is a portable version of Blockland now.
Thanks, I saw that you could use the game like that while wandering around the Blockland site.
If you use Steam, join the Unofficially Official Blockland group!

You can also vote for it on Steam Greenlight which once Valve feels it's ready to be greenlit, it'll be made available on Steam so it can be purchased with real or virtual monies, traded(?), and gifted to others as well as being able to be used with Steam's overlay feature without using Steam's 'Add non-Steam game' feature and possibly also drag in more users than we have without it

Yeah Ill make sure to do that. Anyway to help out. Btw, you are the first familiar name I've seen in awhile.

Delete Blockland and the forums from your internet history, it may not be too late.
Ahh I see, so about the same as it used to be.
Blockland can now be bought from amazon

We are currently in 40 and 50'kers
Thank you, that is pretty cool to see that people still bought this game.

I am an old member who is thinking about coming back to play Blockland again and I was wondering how the community is. When I used to play, there was a fair amount of people but nothing to huge. Has the amount of people grown or is it about the same? Is the community still as "friendly" as it used to be? I just basically would like to know how the people of Blockland are these days. Also, the last time I played I can remember newbies being at about 19,000 with their  BLID. What are they at now?

Help / Re: Add ons on Flash Drive
« on: July 19, 2011, 07:06:35 AM »
Ok thank you youre like awesome but just to make sure. I am going to have the add ons folder inside a folder in the flashdrive called blockland stuff so I would do this. Go to command prompt and type
Code: [Select]
cd C:\Blockland
mklink /D Add-Ons F:\Blockland Stuff\Add-Ons
(My flash drive is F:) And run blockland normally with the drive in the computer. Also do add ons just go to that folder automatically if I use that rtb manager thingy?
