I'd say just know that she's the right one for you, there's no reason to rush finding someone.

But I wish the best of luck to you

Yenola... Every time you get involved with these topics, you derail the topic. Please, don't do it again.
That quote is perfectly on topic and there's nothing wrong with a single part of it, I'm trying to act better here, I really am, but why do you feel that post was necessary?  I don't get it :(

Btw I just quoted him to directly talk to him. His post wasn't actually against the topic. It was just trying to talk directly to him.
Bro you could've just sent a PM if you felt that way then, I'm not here to derail, I made a valid point and that was the end of it..

no, especially with blockland possibly being on steam some time in the future
I have a huge doubt we'll ever make it to Steam before Greenlight is over, we've been on the list for a year now

guys it obvious that dotdotcircle and kadon is eepos.

http://forum.returntoblockland.com/list.php?cmd=view&id=39736

scroll down and it says eepos 2.5 and not eepos.

(forgive me for my English)
This doesn't prove anything, anyone can name themselves anything, and it was well known information Kadon is Eepos, he even stated it I'm pretty sure.

Drama / Is Blockland dying?
« on: July 15, 2013, 08:41:29 PM »
So as many forum goer's will hopefully agree, Blockland has had quite an influence on my life and is one game I'll never regret purchasing for the first time.  But lately I've noticed unnerving things about my favorite childhood game.

-Lately development has been little to nothing, almost three months with nothing but bug fixes and patches, and two months since even one of those.  No insight on anything upcoming.

-Sales, excluding the past 6 months, I'd seen Blockland on sale maybe once or twice, we've had like 3 75% off's in the past 6 months, are we accepting that maybe the game isn't worth a $20 price point in the public eyes?

-User base and popularity, I mean I know to us, seeing 5,000 people join within a year is amazing, but in reality it's not anywhere near large in the gaming community, we're just constantly regarded as a Minecraft or ROBLOX clone

-Community, recently the community has caused tons of uproar, being from hacking the game to just causing chaos.  Not to mention the downgraded forums server, and lack of communication from any of the dev's.

-Lack of acknowledgement, we haven't been greenlit, or even covered by any other than one YouTube indie gamer, and that wasn't even a good review, he basically said the game isn't worth the price

-This point is personal to me, but many of my peers agree with me, Blockland is losing its replay value in my eyes, I want the old nostalgic Blockland back, where everything was new and there was a thousand ways to waste your time.

I know not everyone agrees with me but in all honesty I can't see Blockland surviving too many more years.

How do you guys feel?

In the suggestions/requests board, it makes it easier for modmakers to gauge what the community wants

You don't understand lawsuits then.

You won't win unless you file a class action with about 500 other people that have the same problem, Asus is a major company.

or we can do the reasonable thing and all go to an already made large gaming event

Our active community consists of maybe 5000 people probably 50% of that being minors

wouldn't this be his 5-6th chance already

idk man, if you can keep your mouth shut and not butt into stuff when you're not wanted participating in the debate ill be completely fine with you

also just because you're not trying to anger someone doesnt mean you can by accident
Well that's what I'm saying, I apologize for indirectly and directly making people angry and hope that I can keep from indirectly angering people in the future.

Regarding my past apologies, yes I know I've apologized before, I know that and thank you for bringing it to peoples' attention, I don't want anyone to think I'm hiding anything.  I know I've had plenty of chances here on this forum, that's why I never asked for another one in the OP, I just want to apologize and let it be known I'm going to try my best to start on a different path.

what have you completed about the code?
i know someone who needs to fix up his rpg
The economy is done, the client is done, the resource system is done
The government and class system are partially done
PvP and PvE haven't even been implemented yet

I've discontinued work on this mod until I get more free time (no idea when that will be)

If anyone wants they can have the source code and models and whatnot if anyone wants to continue it.

i haven't had any problems setting up a server

it's easier than blockland tbh

but it uses a dumb port
It definitely is.
Wollay has said that later on you'll be able to manually change the port, 12345 is only temporary

Thanks for the steps, but I already have my server like.. Up and people CAN connect to it.

It's just the lag gets so bad no matter who's hosting.

She has a 20 megabit upload and we're still lagging. Even she is, and she's connecting locally :(
No problem, Cube World multiplayer is extremely unoptimized atm and really noone using a residential internet connection is going to support more than 4 people on a server.  Cube world is also a lot more CPU intensive than GPU as I've noticed

My girlfriend bought a copy last night to play with me, and I've been trying to get a server working between us.

This game is just too frustrating to play multiplayer right now.
If you don't plan on it being a public server forget the usage of hamachi.

1. Just go to your installation folder (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cube World), then run server.exe
2. It should start up and the ending line will say "Waiting for connection"
3. Exit server.exe and check your cube world folder now for something named server.cfg
4. Open it and it contains the world seed for the world you are now running, change this if you want
5. Now re-run server.exe
6. Find your external IP address and give it to whoever needs to connect, they use "Connect to server" located on the bottom right corner after they choose their char
7. If they cannot join, forward port 12345 both UDP and TCP and retry

An apology is usually unnecessary, as past actions will be forgotten if you just let them die down on their own. There will be a few mentions here and there, but eventually people will stop being pricks and antagonizing you because of what you've done. I've been there, and it worked out pretty well these past couple years.

The gesture is appreciated, though.
I realize but it's hard because I usually have a disagreeing opinions with people and sometimes they view it as me trying to be a richard, understandably so because sometimes I use vulgar language or condescending phrases.

I'm just trying to let you guys know that because I disagree doesn't mean I'm attempting to anger anyone, and that I'm sorry for doing so in the past

all the keys have a slow response for me
I really wish cube world had any sort of debugging whatsoever, right now the best bet you have is just to uninstall/reinstall whenever you encounter an issue.
