No YoungD. This has no correlation what so ever with the New Years server. It's quite simply a freebuild with a fun club where people can dj and stuff.

Lots of loops are ripped from copyright audio which can result in a lot of problems for Blockland Glass. I think Blockland Glass doesn't want to deal with this problem which is understandable.

Blockland glass is non-profit. I'm a record producer in the music industry so I've studied the law of it. Since it's non profit, the original author(s) of the work(s) won't have any losses as a result of the thing not making profits, or money at all. Also if it's less than a minute of music it usually is fine.

So I enjoy making relay events and stuff with like 40+ lines of events. 90% of the time the events are copy and pastes, however I have to manually goto onRelay> etc... etc...

So, is there any add on that can allow me to copy and paste a line of event "code" to a new line?

We don't need a new game, we just need Badspot to integrate an IRC chat directly in the game. Such as like what RTB was. That way, people can make friends in game, and easily join each others' servers. Bad spot just needs to put out some significant update like that to draw the interest back in the game!

reputation matters because people who historically do bad things are likely going to do bad things again. yes, there's the case where bad people may do good things and dont get recognized for it, but you can't expect every good idea or act to make everyone stop treating you according to your reputation

I agree to that! But still... most people on here are like 11, and have not a lot of REAL life experience so they will be a bit immature. There's nothing wrong with that. Either way. No one should bully, it's disgusting behaviour. You don't have to bully people to prove them wrong.

Only bad people who do significantly positive things should regain reputation. For example, you Conan, has a great reputation in this community, so if you do one thing wrong you are excused straight away. But if a newbie does something wrong on the same degree, they are bullied about that, so they have to work hard to redeem themselves.

This is not fair, yes they can be treated negatively, but not bullied. EVERYONE who has bought this game has a right to be on these forums, and that fact isn't being respected by some bigots. #Peace

Also, why argue in the first place, just keep peace, be positive, and inspire others. Those who are negative, bigots and bullies just bring down this community.

That's my take on this situation anyway.

Can I join? I'm an audio engineer (synth designer/sound designer) I also compose score to various short films. I would be up for making some synths for gun shots and stuff.

I've been on Blockland since 2009, and bought the game in 2010, so I know Blockland like the back of my hand. I'm 17 years old so it will be practically impossible for me to be immature.

My Blockland ID is "13371", this account I am using on the forum was purchased not too long ago as I forgot the old password and email :P The in game name is "MATTVORN".

As for what position, I am decent at voice acting, I excel in building, use advanced eventing such as if/relay events, as I mentioned I also compose music and would be up for composing, designing sounds as well as arranging music on the final sequences.

Essentially my goal for being a member is to make the film better. I want better audio quality, and keep in mind, audio is a half of what a film is. Music is what builds the real tension. Therefore it's an important aspect that I would like to see done well on the sequel.

It's up to you, I would be up for it, as it looks like a fun little project!

Events. Sometimes I like to use a lot of relay events, I wish that you could easily copy and paste a line of event individually. Also, when you have events set up and want to change events from self to NamedBrick, it would be nice if upon that change, the later part of the event after the Self or NamedBrick section don't delete as sometimes, I want to keep the later part of the event, but change something closer to the beginning of the line of events.

It would also be nice if the engine was optimised to allow shaders on systems with an integrated graphics card so that more people can run shaders and stuff like that.

It would also be nice if you could have greater control over trust, sometimes I want people to use events on my bricks, but not allowed to build on my bricks.

DEFINITELY what needs to be done in Blockland is to have a dedicated RTB style chat thing integrated within the game. As back in RTB, I found that I could make a lot of friends directly in game rather than having to faf about on the forums etc... finding peeps to play with. It was also nice to see what add ons people were using. I don't mind about any other points I made, but seriously, a new RTB chat thing needs to happen in game!!!

All about creativity with events. Making a concert stage can utilise easy events such as Activate based events, or more advanced Relay/if events.

With a wide range of music on the server you can make a stage suitable for a DJ based performance, or make a stage that utilises a piano; a classical performance.

Overall, this is designed as a fun way to practice and show off your events skills.
