You might be confused, but in Russia, this is a valid holiday.

It's about MEN. Soldiers, to be exact.

this day, women give men presents.

And there's a holiday named the Day of Women, on eighth of March, where WOMEN give MEN presents.

So yeah, today is a holiday for me. :V

Now the festival is gone and there's a movie about soldiers. My mom said it was filmed in the city I live in, because she remembered the lake in one scene. :U
