Why do people like Saints Row and not Serious Sam 3?

i've played FE, SE, and 3, and they're all extremely fun
i highly recommend them
lighting in serious engine 3/3.5 is really nice too
also croteam is like 7-10 people what do you expect tylale :v

Saints row is just trying too hard to beat GTA.
It overdoes everything.

Or maybe GTA isn't trying hard enough
