A wireless printer works off of the network via the router and a server basically manages access to the resources in the network. So your printer is not a server...

A server is a computer or computer program that manages access to a centralized resource or service in a network. I highly doubt that your printer has any of the capabilities that your computer has or a solely dedicated server.

Just because the little stuffbox stuff box full of stuff is loving out doesn't mean you need to go and completely change everything and get a new internet company.

Also, printers can't be servers and/or internet hotspots.
They can be on the network as a shared printer, either wirelessly or wired, but that's about it.
Whatever computers connected wouldn't be affecting the wireless range or the wired connectivity.

I'm sorry, I don't detail my thoughts very well on the internet :/

I did this with comcast, they gave us absolute stuff internet and service (i know it was them, we switched routers and it was still not good) and we switched to verizon, now we get so much better internet, and they actually help us rather than making us pay them for service on our already-working systems. I'm not saying you should, i'm just saying this as a recommendation if your mom happens to read this.

Also, we switched to a Netgear, and it's very reliable.
