Author Topic: If We Were to ever Update to Torque3D, what do you think would happen?  (Read 5184 times)

how do you know that?
Because T3D supports it natively..?

fxdtsbrick would still have to be re-implemented

I kinda see now what Yola meant by heavily modified. It's just that we have some of the silliest/annoying limits - I understand all games haves limts but our limits are really low for almost everything, most of which are engine/packet limitations, packet limitations are still due to the engine because of the max packet rate or something though (wait, didnt Badspot raise it once though and then brought it back down)?

Rotondo can ban people?

poop would fly everywhere and everyone would be monkey grabbing crap off the floor and throwing it because their addons broke
you're a handicap.
Anyway back on topic.

Blockland needs an organized list of bug fixes or small engine/base changes that Badspot would hopefully read. Those are non-content fixes that don't really fit in with the S&G board.

Anyway back on topic.

no one went off-topic though...

If Badspot would ever use a new engine, I think a sequel for Blockland would be more possible instead of porting the whole game to a new engine

That's quite the concept, it's really interesting to imagine "Blockland II" coming out, and it seems ridiculous because it's a building game, but if we were to make the shift, and it was really that much of a time taking, graphically intensive change than I can see the prospect being possible; although if anyone in this topic knows anything about coding, which I certainly don't, it's extremely unlikely. But a thought indeed.
