If I was guaranteed a refund from steam, Spore wouldn't be in my library.

They do make a good point. Why should only Europe be entitled to refunds while the rest of world has to put up with a stuffty product?

Now I research before I buy, but I don't like how people in one country are entitled to something that other are not.
People in one country (or multiple as in Europe) are entitled to it on account of their laws though. I don't know if you were or weren't directing it at time, but your resentment/anger should be directed at your own government for not having the same sort of laws.

Yeah, valve are terrible for refunds, but they're only using the law to their benefit as you're entitled to do. And if they're selling in other countries then they should be abiding by the laws of those countries, or they should stop selling there.

imo you should be able to refund any game you own on Steam until you have, say 4 or 5 hours logged on it. That would be really nice and at the same time wouldn't really allow you to just beat a game and then get a refund. Would that still be against Australia law?

about time for gabe to stop being such a stingy forgettard and give one of his gold bars to Australia

i couldnt get over the obnoxious "characters" these 3 idiots are trying so hard to portray, to hear any decent news out of the video...

of course I get a 8 minute ad that I cant skip.

Wait, we're entitled to steam refunds?

Wait, we're entitled to steam refunds?
Somewhere under EU law. I'm not sure to what extent UK law also applies (although I believe if it's broken then our statutory rights still exist, so the seller is legally obliged to repair the broken product).
Under UK law however you can get a refund within 7 days without reason. Not sure how it applies on other conditions.

I was wondering why this looked so familiar until I happened to glance up at the top right of my chrome page.

A lot of the games that are in my library would probably be refunded if we could get full refunds. Quite a few never appealed to me and/or just didn't live up to expectations to the point of me not really planning on ever playing them again for quite some time.
