u couldnt imagine a period or comma there?

When it's a giant run on sentence with slang and incorrect grammar, its kind of hard to find a place to put a comma.

Its the best decision, unless you want to buy an extremely expensive guitar you end up not wanting to play or own in the end.

Does donnie play guitar or not

He wants to get one to learn
Ooh is he looking at anything in particular? I don't recommend going for a cheapo depot guitar unless that's all you can afford. If you don't like guitar, there's no resale value whatsoever.

He doesn't have the money to go anything expensive. Guitar resell value nowadays sucks anyway. I bought a custom guitar that was valued new around 2k, and I bought it for half that.

i know little about guitars and i'm starting out, so i'm thinking of getting either of these:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008F4URXI/ (squier affiny strat)

or

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A6D50L0/ (epiphone les paul)

i mainly want to play 60's/70's rock like pink floyd

this is my semi-acoustic ovation:

and my dads gibson that i just forget around on because im not very good at electric/like acoustic a lot more:

ive been playing for about 4-5 months now. havent been practicing as much ever since summer started tho due to work. but ive played keyboard for a long time so its not as steep of a learning curve for me

practice? pfff, I just noodle around and pretend I have half an idea of what I'm doing

I just noodle around
That's how you develop improvisation skills.

Here's my pride and joy the day I got her

If you already know how to play, I'd recommend going to a local guitar store or somewhere you could get your hands on one of these and try both out and see which works best for you. If you can't do that, then just read up on a few reviews to see what people's gripes and praises are. I'd go for something with a comfortable feel (although completely up to each person), something with a good tone, something well made (or as well made as possible for the price), and something with just overall quality. You could also look at second hand gear at some pawn shops. However you'd just need to be careful as not all of it is quality stuff. Bottom line, you don't wanna start out on an absolute stuff guitar because it will eventually hinder your progress as a player until you can upgrade, which may not be for a few years.
