Author Topic: Why does everyone hate Starbound?  (Read 9917 times)

I hardly believe that scan x to progress missions and fetch quests are fun. If so, you must live a very boring and menial life.
i mean the actual missions with boss fights and unique maps.

I hate it because I die way too often and the melee combat sucks when fighting monsters. NPC/Player combat is fine, but monsters do contact damage all the time and you have to get WAYYYYYYYYYyyyyyyyyyy too close to them to hit them, and with a shield you're fine but I haven't found a shield.

I ragequit when I fell in the lava in the center of the first planet and found that for some reason, while you CAN tunnel into the lava and remove it, there's a kill barrier that prevents you from getting the stuff that's sitting RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF ME BUT I DIE BEFORE I CAN GET IT.

You mean the 7-8 missions with bosses at the end of them or were boss fights? Yeah they looked cool... but there could've been, and should've been, easily more.
