I sorted all that out and fully swapped to my google account (Had same problem as you) Like the beginning of last year then they started it.

(For reference, I deleted the youtube account that was already using my address.)

Didn't see that. But my problem involves being forced to make a new e-mail or channel.

For now, I'll just make an alternate e-mail. I'll admit to some overreaction, but it's still a huge nuisance. I never wanted to have to check more than one account.
