If you're gonna get a mac at least get a macbook pro.

I'm saving up for the new 13" for 1.4k

My dad just got it. 13 inch too.
HNNNNNG

256mb of RAM? the hard drive isn't even SATA, and its 4200 rpm/60gb? Can only connect to 802.11g wireless? 64MB of VRAM? dear god, it doesn't matter if it "feels well made", it's useless.

256? It's 512mb. HD is slightly bigger because he got this guy to up it. It's a b/g card I think, and my network doesn't have n yet. 64 mb of vram is plenty for movies and SOME games. I'll usually use this for school and out of the computer room occasions.

I might get some more ram for it, it can only do 1.5 GBs, but really it's just a Mac and I never know what is plenty for it.

Yeah, as I said earlier, its not good for gaming and Leopard won't be a fun experience.
I recommend sticking to Tiger. Its not going to be good as your main computer unless your a diehard Mac user who loves their old software. It certainly will not work as a gaming computer at all.

ITT: INTERNET YELLING

I tried using a mac

everything was backwards/didn't work, or I had to go through a lot of 'Jury rigging" to get programs to work

and yet they say they don't have problems with crashes and stuff, well thats cause you can't do anything with a mac except have it turned on and look at the desktop :I
anyway I've had no problems with my Microsoft costume gaming  computer 1,000$USD.

the only time people experience BSOD is if they are completely stupid using a computer or have a really old computer and are trying to run crysis at max settings

Everything you just said is handicapped.

I prefer PC's over macs, but even I think you're stupid.

BSODs are caused when system files such as dlls get corrupted, or you never ever clean your registry. Running Crysis at max settings doesn't cause that.

Most Mac programs work fine on machines, and you probably got your dad's old iBook G4 and thought it could run TF2 on high settings.

The fact you couldn't even build a computer and think that a 1000$ computer on retail can be considered a gaming computer, + the incredibly handicapped statement directly before that, means you know absolutely nothing.
