My opinion on grounding:

It's good to punish children who disobey their parents because it trains them to do better in life. Just look at all of the douchebag children out there that don't get punished for their transgressions.

cause they learned how to avoid punishment since they just apply if the parents are looking, which means the punishments aren't working at all
