How the forget can you have fun with people over the internet, especially if they don't have mics or cameras?

Why is there such a huge focus on multiplayer games in the past few years? It's almost like people realised you need decent storywriters (who aren't cheap) to make a good single-player experience, so they all went to multiplayer where the more glitches, the better.
That's why splitscreen multiplayer with people in the same room as you is fun. People you can actually physically see, talk to and interact with.

How the forget can you have fun with people over the internet, especially if they don't have mics or cameras?

It's not just that. They know that price, among other things, are factors towards the success of a campaign like this.

Yeah I mean considering the stuff funded on it, you'd wonder how some people even managed to use a computer.

Still I could dream for a concept like this taking off ;c
