Is there any legitimate way to control a legitimate decoy player from afar? I think this may be emulated from the RC Biplane add-on.

problem with decoy player is you can't assign shapenames to bots (eg player names) without a special password. the reasoning behind this is otherwise people will spoof being badspot or something.

a controllable decoy that doesn't have a shapename is definitely possible.

Well sure, but how come the RC Biplane has a shapeName? Doesn't it count as a bot?

It's a vehicle I believe.

Shapenames can be set for bots, but you have to do it in a cheatsy way. There's an addon for it.

And even then, it would be great if someone attempted this. We already created an RC Biplane and an RC Sapper, plus the Sentries mod.
A full controllable combat bot would definetly be great.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Bushido create the code for plantable turrets/decoys in the first place?
