Author Topic: Another day ruiner for yesterday  (Read 1507 times)

Yesterday, I found out Troy "T-Bag" Dixon was killed. I was so sad and depressed. Only one thing could have made it worse. Guess what? It happened.

I am an official Jewson of national socialistparent(s). My mom sent my wishlist to relatives for Christmas (Orange Box+L4D). She'll let me get the Orange Box for the T-M rating, but because loving L4D is rated M, I can't loving get it.

Before this, she saw a Left 4 Dead commercial with "RATED M FOR MATURE" right in front of her face and didn't do stuff about it.

If someone needed one more party member to get rid of a bot and I wasn't randomly there and you lost on expert, blame my mother.

Yeah, that sucks for the PurePwnage crew. :(

Guess what? You might get it from someone that you know for Christmas, beatch.

Do you get depressed everytime the news comes on and it tells you somebodys died that you don't know?

Grow up.

I don't give a stuff about those people because I haven't heard of them.

Oh, so you call us heartless for not being sad about someone we haven't heard of.

k.

harsh tails is harsh.

Playing M games as a 13 year old is a privilege. Not a right, and your parents can choose either way. Now stop crying about it or we might have to give you to Bushido.

Oh shut the forget up. As I said in that thread, I sympathize with all fellow gamers and internet-nerds alike. I don't care if I didn't know him, he died. Just because I didn't know Steve Erwin doesn't mean I wasn't sad when he died, or even Don LaFontaine. Don't be so stupid.

Sympathy is weakness. There is no logical reason to be sad over someone's death when it doesn't affect you personally. Empathy on the other hand is completely fine and should be felt by anyone with half a nut.

On-topic: Don't tell your mother that some of the Orange Box games are rated M Chexguy, she might take it away or something.

It's only a weakness if it effects you. Feeling it is a normal human emotion, and can be explained logically by most neurologists. But yeah, I get it. You're a badass assassin and sympathy prevents you from doing your job hurr hurr hurr.

He was my childhood hero, I watched him all the time and he inspired me. That's why I was sad. I'm not calling you out on this, but being a total starfish about someones death isn't appropriate, no matter how much you don't care.

Make sense please.

Make sense please.
I knew I should have clarified. Emotion is only a weakness if it physically stops you from doing something.
